Sometimes the greatest danger to the Church comes not from without but within, from false teachers who would lead many astray. Even greater danger comes from within our own hearts, our residual fallen natures in Adam threatening to lead us all astray. But against both dangers stands the grace of Jesus Christ, who cleanses us from our sin through His work on the cross and transforms us from within so that we may contend for His glory with faithfulness and joy.
