Lord willing, we will begin our sermon series in John’s first epistle by considering the first four verses of the letter. There we find the words of a man whose joy is tied to enfolding of others into the fellowship of the Church and a knowledge of the Triune God. May the Lord bless us by enabling us to find our joy in such a noble endeavor.
