The spiritual bad news is that as Christians, we face an enemy who is far more powerful, intelligent, and crafty than we are. The good news is that our God is infinitely more powerful still and that He has revealed our enemy’s plans in advance. Armed with the grace of our Savior and a knowledge of our enemy, we have everything we need to glorify God in church discipline and in many other areas of the Christian life.
