A good start does not guarantee a good finish. We all face many trials, hardships, and discouragements in the Christian life as we seek to follow Jesus. How may believers press on amid such challenges? Paul reminds Timothy that we can endure in gospel service through our glorious gospel Savior, who has already finished the race in our place. His grace provides everything we need to not only endure, but to reach others in His Name so that they, too, may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
