Our passing on the faith once for all entrusted to the saints is not like playing the telephone game: a hopelessly flawed effort that inevitably succumbs to distortion. The message of Christ is preserved by God the Holy Spirit, who then uses us to share His truth with others, who then share it with others. We pass along what we have received so that future generations may rejoice in the life we have been granted in Christ. There is joy in receiving the gospel and joy in passing it on, all to the glory of God.
