As Paul writes to Timothy, he gives instructions on how the church ought to conduct itself. Paul begins by urging believers first to pray. The prayers of believers should be for all people without exception. There are many ways believers should pray for people, but ultimately, we should pray that they would come to know Jesus and the truth of the gospel, because there is no other mediator, no other Savior, than Christ Jesus.
