Dr. John MuhlfeldDecember 18, 2022Passage: John 1:1-13
Unlike the other gospel writers, John does not begin his account with Jesus’ earthly lineage, ministry deeds, or humble birth, but with His pre-existent glory. He lifts our eyes to the heavens to behold the One who is the life and light of the world, through whom all things were made and through whom alone we may be born of God. In John’s time as in ours, the only hope for a world darkened by sin is the glory of a Savior whose light cannot be overcome.
