We think we need many things in life but what we need most is a true and loving word from God that leads us to the Lord Jesus Christ. Before Paul expounds on the foundations of a healthy church, he establishes the authority of his message to the people whom he loves. Godly living is preceded by godly faith, and godly faith comes through hearing the word of Christ.
