Paul knew that every believer is engaged in a spiritual war for the truth of the Gospel. The forces of evil continually seek to destroy God’s people in both doctrine and life, therefore we must prepare for battle. We must look to our Great Commander as we fight the good fight laid before us, taking warning from those who have gone astray and trusting in the Savior who has already won the war on the cross.
