The Scriptures teach that our brothers and sisters in Christ are not like our family, they are our family in ways that transcend mere biology. As with all families, there are family rules that govern our interactions with one another. In 1 Timothy 5, God teaches us how to love one another as Christ loved us so that others may be drawn into His eternal family and give Him glory forever.
