The most effective way to contend for the sanctity of human life in our generation is not to argue opinions with people but to help them to see and know the God of the universe who Himself contends for life, both physically and spiritually. An overview of the book of Jonah reveals the gracious Creator of life who relentless contends for it, even with respect to rebellious, helpless, guilty, and stubborn people (like us!) through the grace of Jesus Christ.
