As David reviewed the stunning victories God had granted over the course of his life, his repeated impulse was to cry, “Glory to You, Lord!” Despite having a heart inclined toward selfishness (as we all do), grace had taught David to praise God for every blessing. For safety, stability, skill, success, deliverance, and so much more, the continual cry of our hearts should likewise be, “Glory to You, Lord” through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Passage: 2 Samuel 22:32-51
